Lenovo ThinkPad Stack Review

Features

Picture
The ThinkPad Stack is a great accessory for business users, and general users as well with all of its included features.

The ThinkPad stack includes everything a business on the go user may need, with a portable 1TB hard drive, a bluetooth speaker, a giant 10,000 mAh battery, and a wireless access point.

1TB Hard Drive

This hard drive has a massive amount of space to save all of your documents, all of your photos, and anything you would like. It is also easy to access with its included USB cable, and smartphone app.

Wireless Access Point

The wireless access point is extremely helpful when you have an ethernet connection but no WiFi. You simply plug in your Ethernet cable or Wireless card, configure it on the ThinkPad Stack smartphone app, and you've got a fast, reliable WiFi signal. Best part? You can use this with the 1TB hard drive to access your files where ever you are! It does require power to use, so if you decide not to use this with the other modules, you will need to supply power to it since it has no battery internally.

Wireless Bluetooth Speaker

The speaker has a good bass, and medium treble. When put in the highest volume, there is no distortion, and the bass is spectacular for the size of the speaker. It has 3 speaker sides, and it produces really good quality sound. The bluetooth connection is strong, and I am able to get it to run a floor apart. Plus, it has a battery that allows for 6 hours of audio if you would like to listen to music on the go without a power supply.

Portable 10,000 mAh Battery Pack

This battery pack is extremely useful. It doesn't overheat when you are charging it or discharging it to another device, which is great since you can rest assured of the quality and reliability. Like most battery packs, it comes with a LED indicator that tells you how much battery charge is in it.

Functionality

The ThinkPad Stack transfers power and data through the pogo pins, so only one module unit must be plugged in to supply power. It is really compact and even comes with a carrying back to hold the stack system. It is easy to use, and all you need is the ThinkPad Stack app on Windows, Mac, Android, or iOS app to operate it to its full functionality.

Suggestions!

A great add on for the future is a pico projector to show off projects, movies, and much more.
UPDATE: I heard from Lenovo, and it turns out that one is in the making currently. Excited for it to come out for purchase!

Conclusion

The ThinkPad Stack is a really great product for business users and for causal users who want a lot of functionality in a small bundle that is easy, convenient, and straightforward.
