Ztylus Flipmount Review

Overview
The Ztylus Flipmount is a great accessory for your phone, and it doesn't only act as a stand, it can also act as other things as well. 

The Ztylus Flipmount, in my opinion is a great accessory for your phone that you can use to prop it up as a stand.  I also find this accessory useful if you like to vlog, or take images, because it gives you a good grip for doing so, rather than just holding the phone by its sides.  It's constructed out of a hard plastic.  I was sent the black version of the Flipmount to review, but there are other colors as well to choose from.  It also has an ONSLOT rubber mechanism, which holds and grips you phone. It's a overall great design, but I am concerned about how this would last in the long term, since using any rubber product a lot would wear it down, which would mean it would be less effective, and the phone might fall out.  However, the hinge is made of metal, and it feels very reliable, and I don't see any concern of that wearing down any time soon.  I like that the ends of part that holds your phone is rubberized, so that it won't scratch or damage the device.  The addition of the screen cleaner is great, and it works like a charm.  It would take away any smudges or fingerprints, and works relatively seamlessly.  

This accessory also allows for a tripod, but this feature is more gimmicky and annoying than actually useful.  I mean, yes, it's cool, when you want to mount it on a tripod, but this thing already includes a stand, so that is not that useful.  I wouldn't mind it being there, but this tiny detail really annoys me. After I open it up and use it, I would close it back, and the tripod mount adapter would stick out.  This is really annoying because forgetting to close it back, would result in the piece poking at you, especially if you put it in your pocket.  Ouch, that hurts.  They should really take that out, or use some other method on implementing this.  I would suggest putting it on the other side, and not as a separate part, so that it would be included with the casing. Just a suggestion for the folks there.     

So who is this for?  I would think for those who want a tiny accessory that would be great to use to put your phone in a stand position to watch movies, etc.  Obviously, a phone is too small to use for presentations, but watching movies or just using this while at a restaurant is a great idea.  In terms of pricing, I think that the price for this is great.  It is pretty cheap for what it can do, and the addition of the screen cleaner adds to the value of this object.
