Design and Features
Lenovo's new Yoga Tab 3 Pro features a similar design to last year's Yoga Tab 2, such as the battery cylider, which not only gives you up to 18 hours of battery life, but also makes the tablet easy to hold when holding it.
Lenovo has made important improvements to the Yoga Tab 3 Pro this year. They've removed the plastic backing and replaced it with a soft leather finish, which not only feels great; also reduces fingerprints a lot.

Lenovo has also done some re-positioning of the projector, Now, you no longer have to hold the tablet to project a video or movie on the ceiling, you can lay it down and just adjust the kickstand since the kickstand is adjustable!
The stand has less tension than last year's model, which makes it feel less sturdy. However, that shouldn't be a problem if you don't touch the tablet in stand model often.

Performance
Performance on the Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Pro is solid. Inside, it has an Intel Atom X5-Z8500 processor, with 2GB of RAM. Game performance was excellent, with no visible stutters. However, in Chrome, with multiple tabs open at once, the tablet seems to hang and stutter when scrolling. It seems like a software related issue, that I hope Lenovo can fix. The tablet scores a respectable 75413 on Antutu, which is decent for this price range. Below is a video of game performance with Asphalt 8.
Lenovo also packs in a QHD display, which looks brilliant. Text is extremely sharp, with my eyes just a few centimeters away, and colors are vibrant.
The tablet comes with 32GB of onboard storage, with MicroSD card expandability to up to 128GB. This is decent for all your games, files, photos, videos, music.
Camera
The camera performance is average. Focus is much faster than last year's Yoga Tablet, and the software includes extra features. In brightness, the camera is capable of taking crisp and decent picture. However, in areas with no light, the camera starts to break apart, and images become blurry, grainy, and unsatisfactory.
Projector and Speakers
With all the storage, you can fit a lot of movies on this tablet to project! The projector is rated at 50 lumens, 720p. The quality of the projector is decent, with text very visible and clear. However, to see the projected display, you will need to have very little lighting. The projector works best when you have all the lights off. Below are examples of the projector.
The speakers on the Yoga Tab 3 Pro are superb. It features JBL speakers, with Dolby Atmos certification. There is a decent amount of volume and bass. I do miss last year's subwoofer on the tablet, however.
Conclusion
At $479, the Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Pro is a great entertainment tablet for playing games, watching movies, and general tablet usage. Click here to learn more!
