The Lenovo A540 All In One desktop is a great computer for work play, and for the whole family. With its multi-mode design, it is not only attractive, but also functional.
Technical Specifications
Design, Features, Cooling, Software, and Sound
The device is made of a single sheet of aluminum, which not only feels nice to the touch, but is also attractive. This line of all in one computer has a special feature where you can change the all in one from a desktop position to a flat position.
A great software that comes with this device is NFC Connection. Basically, you tap you NFC enabled device such as a tablet, phone, and much more to s specific spot on the computer, and you can transfer files from your phone to your computer, or vice versa. It works similar to Lenovo's SHAREit's app.
All the main components of the device are on the base of the device, and Lenovo's cooling system is efficient. Over heavy load, the device never exceeded 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
The placement of the speakers are on the bottom of the device, but I believe that a bit better sound quality could be achieved by moving those speakers to the front, but the sound is still decent, especially with Dolby's advanced enhancements.
While using this device for review, I found myself using it for school work, and putting it into a flat mode to play games with the family. It works great as a family computer.
Performance on this device was great. With the Intel Core i7 processor, the 8GB of RAM, the 1TB hard drive, and the FHD display, you can be rest assured that this product would be great for playing games and work at the same time, with lots of space to save your storage.
