Despite the overall PC market, -6.7% loss, Lenovo has been striving, and hit #1 again, ahead of the other major vendors. This is solely because of the great innovative products they make, and the care they have for their customers, even after their purchase. Support is great, and getting a Lenovo product isn't called buying, it's called a wonderful experience.
In the USA, where I live, Lenovo is #3 in PCs, ahead of Apple, and behind HP and Dell. I have good faith in Lenovo that they will become #1 soon, as Lenovo was just a non-profitable company when they started, and now, they are #1 worldwide. Same goes with their smartphone business. They just recently announced new strategies, that will most likely help them gain the king in PCs in USA, and gain overall popularity, since they are already incredibility popular with their Think and Yoga lines, but don't get me wrong, their Essential line (I'm using) are great as well! They even have a new logo, in which I think looks absolutely great.

Again, Lenovo is the #1 PC manufacturer worldwide, and with the acquisition of Motorola, is #3 in smartphones again. This is the main point I use when people try to argue with me that Lenovo is the best computer manufacturer, and trust me, I win. (this is how I get my friends to get Lenovo products)
I'm no expert at making future projections, but what I believe Lenovo and Motorola could do is to make two budget smartphones, like the Moto G and Moto E, one in the middle of the line, like the Moto X, and one flagship device, that Lenovo and Motorola smartphone engineers and designers could collaborate together. Their engineers and designers could start working together to make smartphones, so that Lenovo's smartphone division will be solely Motorola, and no two branded smartphone business. These are my opinions on the matter, and I think it would be cool to see these companies go forward this way.
