The Epson WorkForce Pro 4630 is a great printer, and a decent upgrade over the last generation's 4530.

User Interface
Last generation's model, the WorkForce Pro 4530, consisted of only buttons to control the printer. This generation, Epson decided to integrate a touchscreen into the system. This can be a bad thing as well as a good thing. Positively, integrated a touchscreen allows you to get more features such as Eco mode, set presets, and it just looks better. The software looks great, and Epson did a great job with software. However, this is a bit sluggish, and compared to the 4530, making a simple copy will take longer, since the touchscreen takes about 1 second to activate. I would suggest Epson working on speed on the interface, but the software is great.
Design
This printer hasn't had huge changes compared to the WorkForce Pro 4530 series. It is the relative size, includes one USB port for flash drives, includes USB, 2 fax lines, and the same size for the scanner. What did change are slight variations that don't make much difference in efficiency.
Now with the Epson WorkForce Pro 4530, there has been many issues where the yellow ink would leak from the reservoir. This occurred to me, and it would leak some yellow ink in the metal parts, and some drips on the paper. I can tell that there has been some design changes internally in this printer, including the new PrecisionCore printing head.

Speed and Performance
One great advantage of this printer over others is the speed. It is one of the fastest inkjet printers. Printing documents is no problem for this printer, but comparing it to the 4530 would be hard. The printing technology is smarter on the 4630. Printing documents with colors or a lot of text double sided, the printer would print one side, take it back in, hold it for a couple of seconds to allow the ink to dry, then print the next page. The WorkForce Pro 4530 would print it faster, but would mean some smudges on the page.
In terms of scanning, double sided scanning using the ADF, or Auto Document Feeder is faster, due to new motors and efficient scanning technology, but flatbed scanning wasn't faster.

Conclusion
So who is this printer for? I would say anyone who prints pretty often, or a small business. It prints fast, and high quality.
